ABOUT

Maud van Dijck, Owner and Founder of Gaudium, has always been fascinated by creating things—building, sketching houses, designing, innovating, and ideating. Creativity runs in her DNA; her mother is an interior designer, and for generations, her family has been entrepreneurs in real estate, construction, and development. Growing up in this environment, her passion for design, development, and innovation naturally evolved. While living in Paris, her interests expanded to include the world of art.

After completing her Master’s degree, Maud began her career in innovation, technology and consulting, working with multinational companies like Philips, Accenture and Bain & Company. While passionate about innovation, she felt a longing for the creative side of her work, which led her to create a company that blends interior design, development, innovation, art, and real estate.

This vision came to life through Gaudium—Latin for “joy.” At Gaudium, we design refined spaces, concepts, innovations, and experiences that elevate life. We also curate and sell the most exceptional properties and meaningful works of art. Our mission is to provide each client with a personalized, high-quality experience—turning dreams into reality and enhancing the way people live.
